Let me add some current info to this site.

I am now..24, almost 25!  Whoohoo!  I am married to Neo.  I teach first grade currently, and *love* it.  I am also working on my Master's in education.  Sounds dignified, huh?  ;)  I am specializing in gifted and talented and computers.  Noone at my school knows how to use them.  I'm the Sys Op...Systems operator...and they need me to fix their mouse...which isn't plugged in, or their printers, because they aren't added.  *Sigh*  My life is rough, I know :)

I currently have 2 kitties, Makenzie and Ripley.  Makenzie I have had since I was....15 or so, so she is old and lazy.  I <3 her!  And then Ripley we got in Gatlinburg.  Neo wanted her, because she was following us around the windows of our cabin.  We would go outside and she would go from one of us to the other (we had the whole fam there.)  She would lick our fingers and purr like crazy.  She was a sad skinny excuse of a cat, but he fell for her.  We stopped at Wal-mart and got a carrier some food and whatnot...she rode the whole five hours without meowing once.  Lemme tell you, that is one exceptional cat!  She was less than a year when we took her to the vet, and healthy, just under fed.  Needlees to say, we fattened her up, and now she is a fat, happy soft ball of fur, who still loves to lick us.  Weird-o.  We named her Ripley after, Ripley's Believe it or Not! and the Aquarium and such.  It was actually my sister-in-law's idea and Nate, my brother, started called her Ripples.  Haha...that didn't go over well with Neo.

Also, we just bought a house and I'm having a heck of a time getting the place vacuumed.  I am used to our tiny apartment.  But we have a yard, and I have a garden!!!  Woot!

Alright, I need to go to work :(

~Geeb would be proud of my use of exclamation points :D

I went to neo's 10 year highschool reunion this past weekend.  Fun!  Looking at old yearbook pictures is great.  We traveled 6 hours so I read a lot.  :)

one more before i go for today.....it is 3.11.02.....6mo anniversary of 9.11, gosh.  i just..its so hard to believe sometimes, the actuallity of this world we live in.  thru it all i keep one thing in mind...

to you oh Lord, i lift my soul
in you, oh God, i place my trust
do not let me be put to shame
nor let my enemies triumph over me

my hope is in you
show me your ways
guide me in truth
in all my days
my hope is in you

i am, oh Lord, filled with your love
you are, oh God, my salvation
guard my life and rescue me
my broken spirit shouts
my mended heart cries out

my hope is in you
show me your ways
guide me in truth
in all my days
my hope is in you

my hope is in you ~third day

This song taken from Psalm 25.  It recognizes that God is the giver of all good and perfect things,  our hopes and dreams are misplaced if they are dependent on anything but HIM.
